St. Xavier's World School Junior of Bathinda celebrated International Yoga Day with an enthusiastic and heartwarming session for our tiny tots. The event was designed to introduce our young students to the fundamentals of yoga while fostering a sense of joy, positivity, and peace through physical activity. Activities: Introduction to Yoga: The day began with a simple introduction to yoga, explaining its benefits in a child-friendly manner. The children were excited to learn how yoga helps in maintaining a healthy body and a calm mind. Yoga Poses: Our young yogis participated in a variety of basic yoga poses tailored to their age and skill level. Poses included the Tree Pose, Downward Dog, and Butterfly Pose. Each pose was introduced with playful stories and fun visuals to keep the children engaged.
