Our Grade 2 students have truly embraced the vibrant spirit of Diwali, showcasing their creativity through a series of delightful Diwali crafts that light up the joy and beauty of this festive occasion. 🎨🪔
As part of their hands-on learning experience, our young learners at the St. Xavier's World School Junior Wing, Bathinda took part in a series of art activities that not only brought the essence of Diwali alive but also reinforced the values of cultural appreciation and expression. Guided by their teachers, the students used a variety of materials to create colorful paper lanterns and shimmering diyas (traditional lamps) – all symbolizing the light that Diwali brings into our lives.
These crafts reflect the essence of learning by doing, a cornerstone of the Montessori method, where practical-based activities stimulate creativity, enhance problem-solving skills, and encourage children to connect with the world around them. 🌟✨
